Film Development Programme

The Film Development Programme, to date, has focused on making stories and scripts - for children, through the ArtsFest in Libraries, Film Making Workshops for children, with Michael Fortune, and for adults, through the Introduction to Screen writing series with Michael Kinirons and the Take 2 Film Appreciation Club, with Gary Hoctor.

The Kildare Screen writers Guild was established as a result of the 2005 Screenwriting workshops.
Moving forward, Kildare County Council aims to showcase innovative and experimental film making practice in Co Kildare.
