Kildare County Council has a number of additional grants available with various partner organisations. A brief description of the grants available are below, for more detailed information please contact the relevant orgranisation.
Writer in Residence - In association with Poetry Ireland
The Writers in Residence Programme takes place in primary and post-prinary schools and is designed to fit in with the timetable, particularly at second level. The residencies involve a short residency by a writer to a school, where the writer works closely with one teacher and with the same class or group throughout the residency.

NYCI Certificate in Youth Arts bursary (accrediting body NUI Maynooth)
Kildare County Council offer funding supports for successful applicants to the National Youth Council of Irelands (NYCI) Certificate in Youth Arts.
The NYCI Certificate in Youth Arts is a part time, year long university accredited course of study in Irish Youth Arts Practice managed and delivered by the Arts Programme at the National Youth Council of Ireland and accredited by NUI Maynooth. It aims to introduce those working in the non formal education sector to the concepts, principles and practice of youth arts using a context and practice approach

Masters in Film – MSc Digital Feature Film Production (accrediting body Stafordshire University)
Kildare County Council offer funding supports for successful applicants to the MSc in Digital Feature Film Production
Filmbase, in association with Staffordshire University, offers a unique, industry-facing masters-level course ( 1 year Full Time) aimed at preparing filmmakers for the reality of writing, developing, pitching, producing, shooting, editing, posting and distributing feature films in digital formats.
