Road to Nowhere by Emma Tobin

Emma Tobin

I am 17 and a Leaving Certificate student in the Holy Family Secondary

School in Newbridge, Co Kildare. I write prose, poetry and short stories. I

was one of the winners of the Stories for the Ear Volume 3 with Guardian



I contribute to Writing.ie as their youth blogger. I won the Conor Bowman

Award at the 2014 Hopkins Festival for poetry. I won first place in Ireland

in the Poetry Ireland/Trocaire poetry competition in the senior-post

primary category. I have had two opinion pieces published in The Irish

Times. I am writing novel number 3 at the moment. I have just completed my

first collection of poetry called WHEN I HAVE FEARS THAT I AM which I hope

to publish.


I am a member of The WriTeen Scene and a regular contributor to the Arts

show Artyfacts on KFM.
