‘Stories for the Ear Volume I’

As part of Kildare County Councils Literature Development Programme, ‘Stories for the Ear’ is an aural showcase of writers from County Kildare. Stories were recorded in the Platform4 Recording Project @ Leixlip Library by professional voice artists.

The 2009 pilot project, curated by Neil Donnelly, was well received.  It included writings from Aidan Higgins, Mae Leonard, Mary O’Donnell, Kate Dempsey, Maria Murphy, John Mac Kenna, Pete Hamilton, Dominic Cogan, Brian Byrne and Eileen Keane.

All 10 stories were then recorded by Des Cave, Ingrid Craigie, Pat Laffan and Deirdre Monaghan.
