Artists Mentoring Programme

Artists Mentoring Programme

Kildare County Council Arts Service in partnership with Barretstown and Helium

Kildare County Council Arts Service invites applications from artists across artforms with an interest in working with children to participate in a new Artist Mentoring Programme. Facilitated in partnership with Barretstown and Helium, this programme offers artists a unique opportunity to receive training, experience the recreational activity model, develop their facilitation skills and reflect on scope for potential project development.

During this Mentoring Programme training will be provided by Helium, the arts and health organisation for children and Barretstown. Participating artists will also gain practical experience working alongside activity leaders to facilitate a programme on two weekends during Spring and Autumn 2012.  On conclusion of the programme, artists will have opportunity to explore potential scope to develop further projects.
