Kildare Arts Service are offering 2 full bursaries to attend the NYCI Youth Arts Summer School - How to Build a Parade, A Summer School in Youth Arts for Youth Workers.

 

Summer school details

Delivered by NYCI’s Youth Arts Programme, How to Build a Parade is

a 3-day residential youth arts practice summer school in NUI Galway,

running from the 19th – 21st June 2013. How to Build a Parade will

offer workshops, evening events and lots more to stimulate your

imagination and send you home with a wealth of ideas and techniques

for developing creative approaches for your work with young people.

 

The 3 day summer school will give you the inspiration, practical know-how and skills to create the most exciting and high quality youth arts performances for your parade be it local, national or international.

Note: You don’t have to be planning a parade to take part, these skills can be used in numerous ways in your own youth arts setting.

How to apply for a bursary:

The summer school is designed is for anyone working with young people, in the non-formal education sector who wishes to explore ways of introducing, enhancing and extending youth arts provision for the young people with whom they work. It is aimed at both those looking to improve their art-form and delivery techniques or those totally new to youth arts.

Applicants must be able to attend the conference for all 3 days.

Bursary may not be split.
