Kildare Arts Service announce a bursary to attend the NYCI Youth Arts Summer School 2014.

Due to the high quality of application, Kildare County Council have provided 2 bursaries to this years Summer School. 

The 2014 recipients are:

Kildare Arts Service is pleased to partner with NYCI to offer 1 bursary to attend NYCI's Youth Arts Summer School.  This bursary will be open to youth workers and volunteers, and arts practitioners working in youth contexts who live and work in KildareCounty.

Delivered by NYCI’s Youth Arts Programme, Summer School is a 3-day residential youth arts practice summer school in NUI Galway, running from 11th-13th June 2014. It will offer workshops, evening events and lots more to stimulate your imagination and send you home with a wealth of ideas and techniques for developing creative approaches for your work with young people.

Wed 11th - Fri 13th, June 2014. NUI Galway

The 3-day in-depth workshop experience will give you the inspiration, indepth practical know-how and skills to work in new ways with your young people and offer them high quality arts experiences.

Who is this suitable for?

Anyone working with young people in the non formal education sector who wishes to explore ways of introducing, enhancing and extending youth arts provision for the young people with whom they work. It is aimed both at those looking to improve their artform and delivery techniques or those totally new to youth arts.

To apply for the bursary:

1. Apply through NYCI's booking system by 3rd June 2014 (when booking, request an invoice as a means of payment)

Closing date for applications for the bursary is Tuesday 3rd June.

Applicants must be able to attend the conference for all 3 days.

Bursary may not be split.

The successful applicant will be notified by Thursday 5th June.
