Proposed Additions to the Record of Protected Structures
Pursuant to Section 55 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended) Kildare County Council proposes additions to the Record of Protected Structures (RPS), included in the County Development Plan 2017-2023, as follows:
Two pyramid Mausolea, Maudlin’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Naas
31 & 33 Main Street, Leixlip,
Kildare Castle Gatehouse, Kildare Town,
New Abbey House, Gate Lodge and Demesne, Kilcullen,
Thatched Cottage, Carnalway, Kilcullen,
Yew Cottage, Mountrice, Monasterevin.
The particulars of the proposed additions to the Record of Protected Structures will be available for inspection from 8th July 2020 to 24th August 2020 (both dates inclusive) on Kildare County Council’s website, https://consult.kildarecoco.ie/
The closing date for receipt of submissions was 5pm, 24th August 2020.
The Chief Executives report on submissions received is being prepared and the proposed additions will be considered at Municipal District meetings in October 2020.
Deletion from the Record of Protected Structures June 2020
Pursuant to Section 55 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (as amended), at their meeting on 17th June 2020, the Members of Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District resolved that record B22 – 25 be removed from the Record of Protected Structures for County Kildare with immediate effect.
