2. Councillor Ridge
Will Kildare County Council roads department review the ongoing problems that
large delivery vehicles to Tesco are causing for the grass verge/footpath opposite
the delivery entrance and prepare a written report as to how it is proposed to
resolve this ongoing matter.

When will the Roadworks programme 2008 be made available to the committee?

When is road design to furnish this committee with a plan for the construction of
the footpath from Wheatfield cottages to Ardclough Village?

Can a costing be obtained to repair the footpath in Wheatfield Upper from house
number 1129 to 1135?

Can the litter on the Clane Road and Ardclough Road be removed immediately?

Will Kildare County Council request the roads design team to prepare a report for
the next meeting of the committee for the construction of pedestrian controlled
lights at the Primrose Hill national school on the Hazelhatch road Celbridge?

Will the council replace the footpath on the Maynooth Road Celbridge between
the Dara Court entrance and the Da Mario restaurant near Tescos as it is now in a
dangerous condition?

To ask when the council will arrange to rectify the two public lights located at
number 14 and15 in Dara Court Celbridge both of which are leaning at precarious

That Kildare County Council do the following works at the Abbey Car Park in
Celbridge: Remove the unused barriers, install bins, progress the provision of a
pedestrian access at the town end of the car park.

That a signal pedestrian crossing is put in place at the Funeral Home on the
Ardclough Rd.

That road design develop a plan to complete the footpath on the Hazelhatch
Road from village to Primrose Gate on left side (two sections) so that this can be
placed on the infrastructure deficiency programme.

That the footpath on the Old Road be returned to its proper finish and standard
following work by Kildare County Council utilities team.
14. Councillor Byrne
That the footpaths at the following locations in Saint Patricks Park, Celbridge be
dished to allow buggy and wheelchair access near houses 623/637/659.

That the footpath between houses 1160 and 1666 Wheatfield, Ardclough be
re-constructed as they are now in a dangerous condition especially for younger
and older pedestrians.

That the timber hoarding at the slip way near Castletown gates, Celbridge be
repaired to prevent trespass and dangerous access to the river Liffey.
17.TPI Traffic Survey of Celbridge update.
18 Regulated parking amendments and recommendation of same to full council.

That Kildare County Council set out in a written report the progress to date on the
taking in charge of Callenders Mill and Simmonstown Manor estates, Celbridge
and that the report set out the expected timeline for the completion of the taking
in charge process in each development.
