1. To confirm minutes of meeting of 11 January 2008 and to note progress report.

Questions
2. Councillor Ridge
Will the area engineer provide a written report on the feasibility and cost of putting a
yellow box outside the school gates of Primrose Hill National School Celbridge?
3. Councillor Ridge
Will the roads department add Primrose Hill National School to the schools that are
seeking flashing warning school signs?
4. Councillor Ridge
What income has the operation of paid parking in Celbridge (operational since 16 April
2007) generated to date?
5. Councillor Byrne
Will Kildare County Council replace the footpath between houses 957 to house 968 Saint
Patricks Park, Celbridge and that it be funded from the monies provided for this purpose
in the 2008 budget?

Arising from the construction of the new footpath at Willowbrook road, Celbridge, an ugly
wall has been exposed as screening foliage had to be removed during construction .I
would ask that suitable planting take place to cover the wall?
7. Councillor Byrne
Will the council provide a footpath from the old council houses at Wheatfield Ardclough to
Ardclough village, and that an estimate of the cost be provided to the council. It is hereby
resolved that the work be included in this years programme as provided for in the book of
estimate?
Motions
8. Councillor Ridge
That the defaced signage for Willowbrook Park Celbridge be replaced.
9. Councillor Ridge
That the TPI consultants,Traffic Management Report takes cognisance of the proposed
Donaghcumper action area plan development in its recommendations.
10.Councillor Ridge
That the roads department of Kildare County Council provide a written report detailing
when the required works for the second long term car park will be undertaken and when
the facility will be available to the public.
11. Councillor Byrne
That Kildare County Council examines the street trees in Castletown estate in Celbridge
with a view to cutting back/pruning the trees that are blocking off the public lighting and
are a danger to pedestrians.
12. Councillor Byrne
That the council re-examine motion number CE/05/0607 in my name and advise if the
disability access programme was pursued for funding for expenditure in 2008 for this
particular project.
13. Councillor Byrne
That stop signs and required road markings be put in place at the junctions within
Castletown estate, Celbridge in the interest of road safety.
