3. Councillor McGinley
That as part of the Maynooth Parking Bye Laws that the proposed four parking bays at Maynooth Castle (Drawing E/3277/B) be removed and that the footpath be extended from Farrell Bridge to the Castle Gates in line with the wishes of the submission from Maynooth Tidy Towns Committee in May of this year. Furthermore that the two pedestrian crossings requested by Maynooth Tidy Town Committee be also put in place. All in the interest of public safety.

That the council provide containers with a sand/salt mix at selected locations to help with icy road conditions during winter by members of the public.

That the council review safety at the exit from Gleneaston Estate, Leixlip (Spar shop) particularly for vehicles turning right towards the Kilmacreddock roundabout (although ramps are in place traffic is speeding over them).

That the council repair or replace the damaged directional signs at the junction with Shackleton and Clane road near St. Wolstans School.

That the council resurface the roads in Ryevale Lawns Estate, Leixlip where necessary.

That the council carry out the necessary repairs to the stone wall at the bridge in Ardclough.

That the ponding of water at the narrow bridge over the stream near house (details supplied) Crodaun Forest Park be relieved as this is several feet over the stream, it will be easy and cheap to rectify and that this minor work be included in the current years programme.

That the hedge bounding Celbridge Abbey Estates in Celbridge and which runs along the public footpath on the Clane Road, Celbridge be trimmed as soon as the ban on hedge cutting allows as it is a danger to pedestrians.

That the road engineers examine for safety reasons the road from Captains Hill to Cope Bridge with the view of making this section of road safer for all road users and for pedestrians.

In order to facilitate traffic safety/movement, that one of the bus stops be moved to the wider section of the Kilcock road.

Can the council repair the isolated sections of footpath in Highfield Park, Leixlip as they are dangerous and pose a trip hazard.

Can the council resolve the situation that exists with the dustbin (R.H.S as you exit Celbridge) on the Clane road beside the bus stop.

Can the council prune the tree and relocate the "Welcome to Celbridge" sign on Maynooth road as it reduces the site distance for traffic exiting Crodaun phase 1.

To ask if the ponding of water on the Dublin Road, Celbridge outside (details supplied) house and near Donaghcomper cemetery could be relieved?

To ask if the council would consider providing (right turn refuge) road marking to facilitate right turning off Church Road into Saint Patricks Park, Celbridge and to eliminate the danger of rear ending while waiting to turn right.

To ask if the footpath at the entrance to Hawthorn View, Celbridge could be examined as it has subsidence and is dangerous to pedestrians and if the works required could be included in next years work programme.
