Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 13 of the Planning & Development Acts 2000-2011 that, at its meeting on 29th June 2012, Kildare County Council made a Variation (No. 1) of the Kildare County Development Plan 2011-2017 to incorporate the following Small Town Plans: Kill, Prosperous, Rathangan, Athgarvan, Derrinturn and Castledermot.  THe Variation was made to ensure that the objectives of the Six Small Town Plans are consistent with the Core Strategy of the County Development Plan 2011-2017.  Local Area Plans for these six areas are superceded by this Variation

Kildare County Development Plan 2011 - 2017 was adopted on the 4th April 2011, and came into effect on the 2nd May 2011.  Copies of the Plan are available for purchase.   See chapters below:
