Kildare County Council – Services to the Public

Kildare County Council has reviewed arrangements for access to services arising from today’s press statement by An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, in the interest of the health and wellbeing of the public and staff.

As and from 6pm this evening, Thursday, 12 March 2020, all Kildare County Council’s libraries will be closed to the public.  In addition, the Customer Service Point at our offices in Athy, and all external offices outside of council headquarters, will be closed to the public.

Services to the public will be available at our offices at Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, however, members of the public are asked to use on-line services and e-mail and to only attend at our office where necessary and by prior appointment. 

Many of our services can be accessed on-line via our website at www.kildarecountycouncil.ie or you may wish to contact us by telephone at 045-980200 or by e-mail at customercare@kildarecoco.ie.

The above provisions will remain in place up to and including Sunday, 29 March 2020, and will be subject to review pending further announcements by Government.
