Health Check Assessment - Clane, Kilcock, Maynooth and Prosperous

Kildare County Council has engaged the services of Cathal O’Meara Landscape Architects to undertake a health check assessment of the following towns and villages in Kildare;

Clane, Kilcock, Maynooth and Prosperous.

The Health Check is to provide a “stock-take” of the current economic, social, environmental and physical situation of each location in order to assess the vitality and viability of the town / village.

The assessment analyses the strengths and weaknesses of each town / village and is based on a quantitative analysis of factors such as the range and quality of activities in each town/ village, the mix of uses, accessibility to people living in the area and general amenity appearance and safety.

Key to the assessment is participation and input from the community and traders, as this essential input will inform the recommendations and actions for each town/ village.

Cathal O’Meara Landscape Architects will be facilitating community workshops in Clane, Kilcock, Maynooth and Prosperous over the coming weeks.  All interested parties are welcome to attend and provide input to shape the plan for each location in partnership with Kildare County Council.

Details of the date and time of each workshop will be advertised and circulated in advance.
