All meetings will be held at 15 minute intervals between 9.30 to 12.30 pm.

This will give an opportunity for interested parties to meet a relevant planner or other senior official who can advise them in broad terms about their proposal.  Prospective applicants attending a pre-planning meeting should submit, prior to the meeting, the following documentation to the planning authority:
• Pre-planning application form – may be obtained from the website or by telephone call to this office
• Site location map
• Sketch design of proposal
• Photographs of the site – in particular to show the proposed entrance to the site clearly indicating site lines for exiting onto the road from the proposed site.

NOTE:    Meetings will not go ahead unless the documentation has been received by 5 pm on the Monday prior to the scheduled clinic.

It is important to note that individual sites cannot be inspected in advance of the information meeting.

The information meetings are particularly appropriate for prospective applications for houses in rural areas of the county, where Kildare County Council’s Rural Housing Policy applies (Chapter 6 of Kildare County Development Plan 2005).
