TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
ROADS ACT 1993
NOTICE OF INTENTION
Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that it intends to close:
The Smithstown Road (L5044) to all traffic between its junctions with the Rathcoffey to Maynooth Road (R408) and the Newtownmacabe/Johninstown Road (L5046)
From Monday 9 May to Friday 20 May 2011 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm daily.
The closure is required to facilitate essential road maintenance works.
Alternative routes: Adequately signed diversion routes will be provided on all approach roads for the duration of the works. Emergency and local access will be accommodated for the duration of the works. Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Transportation Department at the address below on or before 5.00p.m. on Wednesday 20 April 2011.
