Temporary Road Closure - Notice of Intention - Celbridge to Ardclough Road

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

ROADS ACT 1993

NOTICE OF INTENTION

Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 that it intends to close:

The Celbridge to Ardclough Road (L1016) to all traffic between its junctions with the Ardclough to Straffan/Boston Road (L2008) and the Newcastle Road (L5064).

From Tuesday 7 June to Friday 24 June 2011 between the hours of 8.00am and 4:30pm daily.

The closure is required to facilitate essential road maintenance works.

Alternative routes: Ardclough bound traffic will be diverted at the roads junction with the Hazelhatch link road at Simmonstown Manor housing estate, Celbridge. Celbridge bound traffic will be diverted at Ardclough Village. The diversions will be adequately signed on all approach roads for the duration of the works. Emergency and local access will be accommodated for the duration of the works. Any objections/observations to these restrictions should be lodged in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Transportation Department at the address below on or before 5.00p.m. on Wednesday 18 May 2011.
