Extension Of Roadworks Speed Limit Order - Kildare Town Waste Water Treatment Works

 

EXTENsION OF ROADWORKS SPEED LIMIT ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 2004 (SECTION 10)

KILDARE TOWN WASTE WATER TREATMENT WORKS – CONSTRUCTION OF WATERMAIN

Please note that in accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, it is hereby ordered that, in the interest of public safety, it is necessary to extend the reduction of speed limit of 50km/h at the locations indicated in the attached schedule, for the duration of the works or until 21 April 2012, whichever is the earlier.

This extension of reduced speed limit is required due to an unforeseen delay in works.

THE COUNTY OF KILDARE ROAD WORKS SPEED LIMIT ORDER, 2011

Kildare County Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004, hereby makes the following Order in respect of the area comprising the administrative County of Kildare.

1. This Order may be cited as the County of Kildare Road Works Speed Limit Order, 2011

2. 50km/h shall be the speed limit for mechanically propelled vehicles on Roads specified in the First Schedule to this Order.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Roads in respect of which a road works speed limit order of 50km/h is prescribed.

(a) The Tully Road (L3005) from a point 100 metres north of its junction with the Waste Water Treatment Plant road to a point 50 metres south of its junction with the Mooretown-Kildare Road (L7024).

(b) The Brallistown Little Road (L70244) from its junction with the Mooretown-Kildare Road (L7024) to a point 50 metres south of said junction.

(c) The Kildare-Athy Road (R415) from a point 50 metres north of its junction with the Mooretown-Kildare Road (L7024) to a point 50 metres south of said junction.

(d) Newtown Lane (L70242) from its junction with the Mooretown-Kildare Road (L7024) to a point 20 metres north of said junction.

(e) Shanacloon Lane (L70241) from its junction with the Mooretown-Kildare Road (L7024) to a point 50 metres south of said junction.

(f) The Silliothill Road (L3004) from a point 50 metres north of its junction with the Mooretown-Kildare Road (L7024) to its intersection with the Mooretown-Kildangan Road (L3010) at Mooretown Cross.

(g) The Mooretown-Cherryville Road (L7020) from its junction with Mooretown Cross to a point 50 metres northwest of said junction.

(h) The Mooretown-Kildangan Road (L3010) from its intersection with Mooretown Cross to its intersection with the Monasterevin-Athy Road (R417) at Crosskeys.

(i) Fennor Lane (L70604) from its junction with Mooretown-Kildangan Road (L3010) to a point 50 metres southeast of said junction.

(j) Rathmuck Lane (L70601) from its junction with Mooretown-Kildangan Road (L3010) to a point 50 metres southeast of said junction.

(k) Duneany Lane (L70602) from its junction with Mooretown-Kildangan Road (L3010) to a point 50 metres northwest of said junction.

(l) Cul-de-sac (L70603) at Duneany from its junction with Mooretown-Kildangan Road (L3010) to a point 50 metres south of said junction.

(m) The Clongath-Nurney Road (L7055) from a point 50 metres northwest of its junction with Duneany Crossroads to a point 50 metres southeast of said junction.

(n) The Clongath-Kildangan Road (L7062) from its junction with the Mooretown-Kildangan Road (L3010) to a point 50 metres northwest of said junction.

(o) The Rickardstown-Kildangan Road (L7063) from its junction with the Mooretown-Kildangan Road (L3010) to a point 50 metres south of said junction.

(p) The Monasterevin-Athy Road (R417) from a point 50 metres north of its junction with Crosskeys to a point 50 meteres south of said junction.

(q) The Kildangan-Riverstown Road (L7058) from its junction with Crosskeys to its junction with Riverstown Crossroads.

(r) Killeen Lane (L70581) from its junction with the Kildangan-Riverstown Road (L7058) to a point 50 metres southeast of said junction.

(s) The Riverstown-Ashgrove Road (L7057) from its junction with Riverstown Crossroads to a point 100 metres south of said junction.
