Part 8 - Recycling Centre at Moortown, Celbridge

KILDARE COUNTY COUNCIL PLANNING NOTICE

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000(Part XI) (As amended)

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001(Part VIII) AND

PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2006

Recycling Centre at Moortown, Celbridge, Co. Kildare

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given that Kildare County Council proposes to apply for planning permission to develop a recycling centre at Moortown, Celbridge, County Kildare.

The facility will provide for the collection and storage of waste such as glass, cans, metals, household hazardous waste (e.g. light bulbs, paints, waste oils), garden waste, waste electrical and electronic waste and residual household waste etc.

The total area of the site is circa 1.16 hectares. The principal elements of the development will be an administration building, control hut, weighbridge, baling building, household hazardous and storage building, internal roads, security fencing, public lighting and associated ancillary infrastructure. A right turning lane will be constructed on the R405 to allow for safe access to the site.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase (at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making such a copy) during normal opening hours excluding bank holidays from Thursday 15 September 2011 until Thursday 27 October 2011 at the following locations:

Plans and particulars will also be available to view on Kildare County Council’s website at www.kildare.ie/countycouncil

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development will be situated may be made in writing to:

on or before 12.00 noon Thursday 10 November 2011

Submissions should be headed;

“Recycling Centre at Moortown, Celbridge”

All comments, including names and addresses of those making comments, submitted to the council in regard to this scheme will form part of the statutorily required report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Kildare County Council. Accordingly they will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and may appear in the public domain.
