KILDARE COUNTY COUNCIL

 

PEDESTRIAN / CYCLE LINK THROUGH WELLESLEY MANOR, BARODA COURT and CONNELL DRIVE, NEWBRIDGE

 

 

Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its proposal to provide a:

 

Pedestrian/Cycle Link through Wellesley Manor, Baroda Court and Connell Drive, Newbridge

 

The proposed works involve the provision of a footpath and cyclepath linking the 3 residential areas, and connecting to the existing link between Connell Drive and Chapel Lane. The construction of this link will provide a quality pedestrian and cyclist route between the residential areas, the church and schools on the Naas Road and the town centre, and will serve to reduce pedestrian and cyclist travel times between these locations. 

 

A drawing detailing the proposed works may be inspected during normal opening hours from Tuesday 3 of September to Friday the 4 of October at the following locations:

 

Kildare County Council, Transportation and Public Safety Department,

Level 4, at the address below.

 

Newbridge Library, Athgarvan Road, Newbridge

 

Plans and particulars of the proposed scheme will also be available to view on Kildare County Council’s website at the following link : Roads and Transportation Submissions and / or representations relating to the above mentioned proposed works are invited, and may be made in writing to the:

 

Senior Executive Officer, Transportation and Public Safety Department, at the address below.

 

The latest date for receipt of such submissions and / or representations is 12 noon on Friday 4 of October 2013.
