Road Works Speed Limit Order - M9 Motorway

The County of Kildare

Road Works Speed Limit Order NRO 1/ 2014

Kildare County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004, hereby makes the following Order in respect of the area comprising the administrative County of Kildare;

1. This order may be cited as the Road Works Speed Limit Order - NRO 1 /2014

2. 80 kilometres per hour shall be the Road Works Speed Limit for mechanically propelled vehicles on the Roads specified in the First Schedule to this order.

First Schedule

Roads in respect of which a Road Works Speed Limit Order of 80 kilometres per hour is prescribed

M9 Motorway

Part of the Northbound Motorway M9 between a point 580 metres in a southerly direction from the centre line of the proposed M9 Kilcullen Service Area Interchange to a point 720 metres in a northerly direction from the centre line of the M9 Kilcullen Service Area Interchange (total 1300m in length).

Part of the Southbound Motorway M9 between a point 560 metres in a northerly direction from the centre line of the M9 Kilcullen Interchange to a point 710 metres in a southerly direction from the centre line of the M9 Kilcullen Interchange (total 1270m in length).

The National Roads Authority has consented to these temporary speed limits.

This Road Works Speed Limit Order will apply from Tuesday 6May 2014 to Friday 5 December 2014 inclusive.
