Temporary Road Closure - Notice of Decision - M7 Junction 10



Kildare County Council gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 that it will close:

M7 Junction 10 westbound diverge slip road and M7 Junction 10 overbridge from Monday night 2 November until Monday, 9 November 2015 10.00p.m. to 6.00a.m. inclusive.

The closure is required to facilitate the resurfacing of the pavement.

Alternative route for westbound diverge slip road:-
Continue along the M7 until Junction 12 Newbridge. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit across the bridge. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit for the R445 into Newbridge. Continue along the R445 until you reach the M7 Junction 10.

Alternative route for M7 Junction 10 overbridge:-
From the south side of the bridge, drive from the Bundle of Sticks roundabout along the R445 towards Naas and take the 1st exit at the Newbridge road roundabout along the L3012. At the Caragh road roundabout, take the 1st exit and drive along the R409. Next take a left turn at Halverstown crossroads onto the L2006. Continue on to Floods crossroads. Take a right onto the (L2030) Rathangan road and continue towards the M7 Junction 10.

From the north side of the bridge, drive along the Rathangan road (L2030). Take a right at Floods crossroads onto the L2006. Continue to the junction with the R409 (Halverstown crossroads). Take a right turn onto the R409 and continue along this road to the Caragh road roundabout. Take the 3rd exit and continue straight towards the Newbridge road roundabout. Take the 3rd exit towards the Bundle of Sticks roundabout along the R445.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Local and emergency access will be allowed at all times. Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
