Kildare Age Friendly Roadshows - Free Event for Over 55s

Kildare Age Friendly Roadshows

The Kildare Age Friendly Programme is coming to five venues across the county, delivering an information and awareness day to the older people of Kildare. Events will take place as follows;

Thursday 17th November – Johnstown House Hotel, Johnstown Bridge

Tuesday 22nd November – Clanard Court Hotel, Athy

Tuesday 29th November – Keadeen Hotel, Newbridge

Monday 5th December – Springfield Hotel, Leixlip

Thursday 8th December – Killashee House Hotel, Naas

A full day is planned at each venue from 11.00am to 4.30pm. Proceedings on the day include:

  • Workshops on various themes such as Health, Dementia, Safety, Finance, Budgeting and Positive Mental Health
  • Information that is relevant to you     
  • Lunch and Entertainment

This is a FREE event but registration beforehand is essential. The event is targeted at the over 55 population of Kildare.  Places will be filled on a first come, first served basis as the numbers at each venue are limited. Because of this, applications will have a limit of two names per application.
