Castledermot and Kilcock Park and Ride

Kildare County Council

PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES

SECTION 38 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1994 

In accordance with the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994,

Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to develop Park and Ride

Facilities at the following locations;

Kilcock- Restricting the use of the R148/R158 Link Road to one way in North to South

direction and development of 103 parking spaces along this section of road to be used

on a “Park and Ride” basis.

Castledermot – Park and Ride facility to include 61 car parking spaces adjacent to  

Junction 4, M9 Motorway at Prumplestown Lower, Castledermot.

            Drawings showing the proposed works may be inspected during normal opening hours

from Tuesday 13 September  2016 to Tuesday 11 October  2016 at the following

locations:

Kildare County Council,   Roads, Transportation and Public Safety Department,

                                            Level 4, Kildare County Council at the address below.

Maynooth Municipal District Office - Leinster Street, Maynooth,Co.Kildare

Kilcock Library -                                  Bridge Street, Kilcock, Co.Kildare

Athy Municipal District Office            Rathstewart, Athy, Co.Kildare

Castledermot Library                          Main Street, Castledermot, Co.Kildare

 

and will also be available to view on Kildare County Council’s website

www.kildare.ie/countycouncil

Representations relating to the above mentioned proposed works may be made in

writing to the: Senior Executive Officer, Roads ,Transportation and Public Safety

Department, Kildare County Council at the address below.

The latest date for receipt of such representations is 12 Noon on Friday 14 October on 

2016.
