Construction of Houses at Dunmurray Rise, Kildare

Section 179 of the Planning and Development Act 2000- as amended.

Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001- as amended.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT BY A LOCAL AUTHORITY

Construction of 34 Housing Units at Dunmurry Rise, Bishopsland, Co. Kildare .

In accordance with Part 8, Article 81, of the above regulations, Kildare County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to construct 34 housing units and associated road, footpath and utility services at Dunmurry Rise, Bishopsland, Kildare Town

The proposed development will consist of:

  • Construction of six number, one bed, single storey, terraced housing units.
  • Construction of six number, two bed, two storey, terraced housing units.
  • Construction of eighteen number, three bed, two storey, terraced housing units.
  • Construction of two number, four bed, two storey, end of terrace housing units.
  • Construction of two number, four bed, two storey, detached housing units.
  • Site works associated with the construction of footpath, roads, street lighting and ducting for utilities.
  • Site works associated with formation of new connections to existing public foul and surface water drainage, and existing utilities.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase for a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours from  Friday, 30 September 2016 to Friday, 11 November 2016 inclusive, at Kildare County Council, at the address below and at Kildare Town Library, Claregate Street, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare, during its public opening hours.  Plans and particulars are also available to view at www.kildare.ie/countycouncil.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development is to be carried out, must be made in writing to the Project Manager - Capital Housing, Kildare County Council, Level 5, at the address below before 4.00 p.m. on Friday, 25 November 2016

Submissions should be clearly marked: “Construction of 34 Housing Units at Dunmurry Rise, Bishopsland, Co. Kildare - Planning Submission”.

All comments, including names and addresses of those making comments, submitted to the Council in regard to this scheme will form part of the statutorily required report to be presented to the monthly meeting of Kildare County Council.  Accordingly, they will also be included in the minutes of that meeting and may appear in the public domain.
