Temporary Road Closure-R147 at Little Pace Bridge

     Temporary Closing of Roads

Notice of Intention

Roads Act 1993 

Kildare County Council, acting on behalf of Fingal County Council under a Section 85 Agreement (Local Government Act 2001), hereby gives notice, in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, that it will close the road described as follows:

Road to be Closed: The R147 at Little Pace Bridge (M3 Junction 4 Overbridge), Damastown, Dublin 15.

Date and Hours of Closure:

 Monday 24 October 2016 to Friday 28 October 2016 from 10.00 p.m. to 06.00 a.m. each day.                             

 This closure is required to facilitate Bridge Rehabilitation works on Little Pace Bridge, Damastown, Dublin 15.                                                                                                                                                                                         

Diversion Route:    From junction of R147/L3025 (M3 Junction 4 overbridge), proceed west onto R147 through Clonee for approximately 1.2km to roundabout. Take third exit from roundabout onto R147, proceed across the M3 overbridge and take second exit at the next roundabout onto R147 (Kepak Road). Continue for approximately 1.1km to traffic lights at Damastown Road/Little Pace Bridge

There will be no through traffic across the bridge during this period; however, local access will be maintained on public roads adjacent to the bridge at all times.
