Community Playground Sallins

Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended) - Part 8

Proposed Development:  A Community Playground

Site Location:  Sallins Parish Lands, Sallins

Pursuant to the requirements of the above, notice is hereby given of a proposal by Kildare County Council for the development of a community playground within the parish lands off Chapel Avenue between the rear of the existing Parochial House and Primary School. The playground will be developed for 1 - 12 year old children and will contain a range of equipment suitable for this age group, e.g. swings, slides, seesaws, rockers, multiplay units, adventure trail, sand play seating and landscaping features.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection, or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, during the period from Tuesday 15 August 2017 to Friday 15 September 2017 at the following locations:-

 

Kildare County Council, Community and Culture Department, Level 7, Áras Chill Dara at the address below - Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

 

Cafe Grange, Chapel Avenue, Sallins, Co. Kildare - Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a.m.to 5 p.m.

 

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will also be available to view on Kildare County Council’s website at http://kildare.ie/CountyCouncil/PublicConsultations-Part8Schemes/Community/SallinsPlayground/

Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed development, and dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made in writing to Simon Wallace, Senior Executive Parks Superintendent, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara at the address below before 4.00 p.m. on Friday 29 September 2017.  Submissions should be clearly headed “Sallins Community Playground”.
