Draft Leixlip Local Area plan - Material Alterations

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 20 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), that Kildare County Council has prepared Proposed Material Alterations to the Draft Leixlip Local Area Plan 2017–2023. 

 

In accordance with Section 20 of the Planning and Development Acts 2000 (as amended), Kildare County Council has screened the Proposed Material Alterations and has determined that Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) are not required for the Proposed Material Alterations.  

 

A copy of the proposed Material Alterations will be on public display and may be inspectedfrom Friday 18 August to Friday 15 September 2017 inclusive during normal opening hours at the following locations.

  • Leixlip Library, Captain’s Hill, Leixlip, Co. Kildare, and
  • Kildare County Council Offices, Planning Counter, Áras Chill Dara, at the address below

The proposed Material Alterations will also be available to view on Kildare County Council’s Website www.kildare.ie/countycouncil/Planning/DevelopmentPlans/LocalAreaPlans/

 

Written submissions or observations with respect to the Proposed Material Alterations to the Draft Leixlip Local Area Plan may be made to the planning authority within the above period and before 5pm on Friday 15 September 2017. Written submissions or observations should be clearly marked ‘Proposed Material Alterations to the Draft Leixlip Local Area Plan 2017-2023’and must be submitted either:

 

-  Online, through the submission form facility available on Kildare County Council’s website:

http://kildare.ie/CountyCouncil/Planning/DevelopmentPlans/LocalAreaPlans/

or

- By post to: Senior Executive Officer, Planning Department, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, at the address below.

 

Please make your submission by one medium only, i.e. online or hard copy. Any submission or observation should state your name, address and, where relevant, the body or organisation represented. As an online facility has been provided for your convenience, e-mail and fax submissions will not be accepted.

 

All submissions or observations with respect to the Proposed Material Alterations to the Draft Leixlip Local Area Plan 2017-2023 will form part of the statutory Chief Executive’s Report to be presented to the Elected Members.  Please note only submissions or observations made in respect of the proposed material alterations and accompanying documents will be taken into consideration before the making of any material alteration to the Draft Local Area Plan.  Submissions or observations in relation to any other aspects of the Draft Local Area Plan cannot be considered at this stage in the process.

 

CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS:  5 p.m. on Friday 15 September 2017

Late submissions will not be accepted.
