Athy Pay Parking will be administered by Kildare Country Council with effect from June 01st 2014 following the abolition of Athy Town Council. Parking arrangements currently in operation in Athy will remain in place.

Appeals

Members of the public wishing to appeal a parking fine must do so within 28days from the date of issue of the parking fine and should refer to the Kildare County Council Appeal/Nominations Conditions 2012 prior to submission of an appeal and submit the required documentation in support of your appeal. Details of the required documentation can be found at the following location http://kildare.ie/CountyCouncil/RoadsandTransportation/PayParking/CanIAppealATrafficFine/AppealsNominationsConditions2012/. Where the required documentation is not submitted with the specified time, Kildare County Council will automatically reject the appeal and require payment of the fine. No further appeals can be considered in these cases.

Appeals for parking fines issued in Athy must be made in writing and forwarded to Kildare County Council, Roads Department Level 4, Aras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or alternatively by e-mail to parkingqueries@kildarecoco.ie.

Payments

Please note that parking fines issued in Athy will not be available to be paid online.

Please note that non payment of the fine, which must be received within the specified time period as required by law, will result in prosecution of the fine through the District Court
