Kildare Chamber of Commerce are putting on their annual Christmas concert on Dec 19th in St. Brigid's Cathedral.

This event has become an established date in the calander for kicking off Christmas; the wonderful accoustics of the Cathedral lit by a 1,000 candles creates a very moving event.

Both ladies in Lumiere have a very strong musical tradition and together they create a luminous quality to their performance (as seen recently on the Late Late Show).
 
Lumiere will be supported by a wonderful local group, 5th String, who meld vocals and orchestration into a musical feast for the ears, which again is captured to best effect in this wonderful venue.
 
Tickets are on sale in Kildare Heritage Centre 045 530672/ Aras Bhride 045 521352 at 25Euro each which includes a pre performance mulled wine and mince pie reception.

Performance begins at 8pm on Sat 19th of Dec, in St. Brigid's Cathedral, Kildare town.
