The guest speaker for this year's seminar will be Adhamhnán O Súilleabháin, who wrote the first biography of his grandfather Domhnall Ua Buachalla. A cultural nationalist, Gaelic Leaguer and friend of Pádraig Pearse, Domhnall Ua Buachalla became an Irish Volunteer leader in North Kildare, organising and arming the Maynooth rebels before marching to the GPO on Easter Monday 1916.
Adhamhnán O Súilleabháin will introduce us to the fascinating history of one man’s courage and the journey from rebel to the last Governor General Of Ireland.
