NAAS UNION.
WEDNESDAY.

NAAS AS LAZARUS!
Arising out of an application from the Telephone Company for the payment of 1s a pole, for which they had been asked by the Naas Urban Council. Mr. O’Grady said the Urban Council should not charge in this case. It would be for the good of the town that facilities should be granted to the Telephone Company. When Naas could not get the motor race to start in the town, they sought to have the cars weighed there, - picking up the crumbs that fell from the rich mans table (laughter). Mr. Quinn said he would bring the matter before the next meeting of the Urban Council.
