CASTLE-DILLON
CASTLE-DILLON, a parish, in the barony of SOUTH SALT, county of KILDARE, and province of LEINSTER, 2½ miles (S. W.) from Celbridge, on the river Liffey; containing 136 inhabitants.
It is a rectory, in the diocese of Dublin, and one of the seven denominations that constitute the union of Kildrought or Celbridge. In the R. C. divisions it also forms part of the union or district of Celbridge.
