READING FOR UNDERSTANDING AND ENJOYMENT: How to support children's reading, writing and language skills through the primary school years lecture series in Celbridge Library.

A series of FREE lectures during November and December 2016, presented by Kildare County Library Services in partnership with Froebel Department of Primary and Early Childhood Education, Maynooth University. This programme presents a unique opportunity for parents to avail of the expertise of Niamh Fortune, a teacher educator in Literacy in Maynooth University. Hosted in the inclusive environment of Celbridge Community Library the lectures aim to assist parents in their support of children’s reading, writing and language skills through the primary school years and will include time for questions and discussion

These lectures are FREE OF CHARGEand open to all - people can attend one, two or all three lectures. They are designed to assist parents in their support of reading and literacy skills for school going children age 4-12.
