1st Prize: A large 1,200 sq.ft. unit rent free for 6 months at the Athy Community Enterprise Centre with mentoring and marketing assistance to the value of €5,000
2nd Prize: An Office or / small unit 600 sq.ft rent free for 6 months at the Athy Community Enterprise Centre with mentoring and some marketing assistance to the value of €2,500
Applications are invited from new businesses or existing businesses less than 6 months old.
Short listing will apply and successful applicants will be required to do a presentation / interview.
Entrants need to be ready to go, and in a position to sign a contract with the Athy Community Enterprise Company for two years.

- Business will fit into a 1,200 sq ft unit.
- It is a new business idea / concept
- The proposed business will create employment
- It will have the ability to grow and expand
- Applicants must demonstrate sufficient supports/funds to start the business
- The business must demonstrate market potential
- Entry is open to all new enterprises in County Kildare or those in existence for 6 month or less
- The winners have to be in a position to sign a two year contract with the Athy Community Enterprise Centre.
- Prizes will only be awarded when the 2 year lease with the Athy Community Enterprise Centre is finalised
- Shortlisted applicants will be required to do a presentation / interview
