Local Band Release Free Debut E.P.

Local rock band Tonight We Live offer songs for free download

Athy-based rock band Tonight We Live have released their high-energy debut E.P., "Forget the Last Year", as a free digital download at www.tonightwelive.com

The band have been together for about a year, and have spent that time writing, rehearsing and recording new songs. They describe their sound as "High-energy rock with pop melodies", and are happy that these songs are a good representation of the style they have developed.

Vocalist and lead guitarist Steve Youster said "We released the E.P. for free download because we wanted to reach as many people as possible in the shortest space of time. Feedback from the website and Facebook pages has been exactly what we hoped for."

The first live performance of the new songs will be at the Athy Community Arts Centre on Saturday July 21st, with The Jigsaw Murders and Boy Lights Fire supporting. Steve said "I'm really looking forward to playing live with this band, it's gonna be a good feeling to finally play the songs in front of an audience."

An  interview with the band, and acoustic performance of one of the songs, will be appearing on the kildare.tv website very soon.

You can listen to the tracks at the band's website www.tonightwelive.com , where they can also be downloaded in various formats. Visit www.facebook.com/TonightWeLive for more information about the band.

Tonight We Live are a four piece rock band from County Kildare. They are: Stephen Youster on vocals and lead guitar; Conor Fenlon on rhythm guitar and backing vocals; David Youster on Bass, and Mikey Aldridge on drums.
