people 3. Traffic Statistics for kildare.ie <----- The Kildare Community Network's recent statistics show that the website traffic continues to grow steadily. January - June 2002 January - June 2001 In Ireland Internet penetration has reached 38% of Irish adults. This

KELT <----- KELT is the rural development company for County Kildare and has secured funding under the Leader Plus and National Rural Development Programmes totalling e5,115,000 up to 2006. Their newly launched website includes: Projects supported by KELT under the Leader II programme The Leader Plus Programme aims to encourage the emergence and testing
of new approaches to locally based rural development. Arts <----- The arts in Kildare has never been more vibrant, and with the opening of the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge, more opportunities now exist for Kildare artists to perform or display their work. is a large amount of community activity in the county and there are over
460 of these groups listed in our directory. If you wish to edit your listing or add more information just fill in the online form or email us at community@kildare.ie The Kildare County Football Club has just been formed and it is great to see that they have got off to a great start by reaching the First Division League Cup Final in their first season. More information about the county soccer team can be viewed in the community notices section. Tourism <----- http://www.kildare.ie/tourism/ This section has lots of useful information about County Kildare for those visiting the county. A comprehensive database of things to do, attractions, accommodation, and events give any prospective visitor to the county an opportunity to thoroughly plan their trip here. Kildare, The Thoroughbred County, is a wonderful place to visit. From horse racing, to motor sports or golf to angling, there is something in Kildare for everyone. A popular activity for tourists is to take a walk along the many waterways
of Kildare. If you need more information on any particular attraction or event, email

Education <----- http://www.kildare.ie/education/ This section includes a directory of Schools and Educational Institutions in County Kildare. With schools just back after their summer break, we are likely to see a lot more activity in this area. The section also includes information on Primary, Second Level, PLC,
Second Chance, Third Level, Adult Education and Special Education sectors. For schools there is a listing of resouces and links categorised by school subject and level. Some basic information about sports in schools and technology in schools is available. To include information in any of these sections email us at education@kildare.ie If your school has a website, send us the address and we will include it in our directory.
