K i l d a r e . i e NEWSLETTER
Issue: 12
Subject: Kildare Community Network update 12
Date: 20/12/2001

Greetings from Kildare.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our subscribers a Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year from everyone at the Kildare Community Network

This year has again been a great success with 600,000 visitors requesting 2.1 million
pages from the network's server from Jan - Nov 2001. Next year should see these
figures increase further as we launch the new version of the kildare.ie website.

Subcribers to the Kildare Community Network will be getting a sneak preview of the new
version of the site early in the new year. The site will include major redevelopments of
the site in the following areas: Arts, Business, Community, Education, Heritage and
Tourism.

Should you wish to have a Kildare related site on our network, just email us at
newsites@kildare.ie
Should you have a suggested website link for our Kildare Links section, email us at
links@kildare.ie

This e-mail newsletter will keep you informed of developments on the County Kildare
Community Network. Ask your friends to subscribe by submitting their email address
on our front page. Enjoy!

the main agencies and interests involved in the development of Kildare and to allow them
to co-operate in providing their services.

The first task of the Kildare County Development Board is to draw up a strategy for the
Economic, Social and Cultural Development of the County over the next 10 years.

The County Strategy will provide the framework for co-operation between these bodies
and interests.

This website tracks the progress as the Strategy is drawn up.

Contact them by email at doce@kildarecoco.ie

6. Kildare Nursery Stock Producers

This group of producers have launched their new website recently.

This group consists of eight specialist wholesale producers of nursery stock and has
been established since 1999. They produce a wide range of plants including Liners,
Ericaceous plants, conifers, semi mature shrubs, climbers, containerised ornamental
trees, open ground and hedging plants.

This site is designed to promote the producers to a more national and global audience.

As always, we are happy to receive comments and suggestions for inclusion of
information in both this Newsletter and in the pages of the Co. Kildare Community
Network.
As we will relaunch the kildare.ie website in the new year, I would encourage
anyone interested in getting involved in the site to get in touch.
