Percussion Instruments with Eddie O’Neill

An Archive Page StampEddie demonstrates over 50 of the world’s most beautiful percussion instruments. He explains where the drums come from, how they are played, what they are made from, and many interesting facts about the instruments: the many uses they have in different cultures, from communication and healing, to creating music and special effects.
The aim of Eddie’s workshops is to create a “Hands On” experience for the participants and ensure that ALL the children are involved.

Percussion Discussion with David Day

David Day introduces the workshops through perform-ance then talks about the history of the drums and explains how they are made. The children will have ‘a hand’s on experience’ as they learn to play some simple beats and rhythms.
