EXPERIENCE 20 OPERAS IN ONE GLORIOUS NIGHT.

Whether regular opera goers or no, A NIGHT AT THE OPERA is an evening for all lovers of music - and music theatre - to savour and enjoy. So why not let Opera UK's six talented soloists take you on a journey through many of the most famous moments that opera can provide? Let them perform for you such favourites as Puccini's O mio babbino cara - such famous duets as "The Pearl Fishers" and "Lakme" (better known as the British Airways Ad.!)- and of course a few of the more sublime moments of Mozart.

For sheer beauty there is Mon Coeur where Delilah famously wins the heart of Samson and the beautiful Evening Prayer form "Hansel & Gretel". Or for boisterous drama there is the Toreador's Song from "Carmen" followed by the seductively languid Habanera and Brindisi from "La Traviata". This is only a taste - there is much, much more.

In this changing selection of highlights, a leap will sometimes be taken into the world of music theatre and operetta, with favourites from Lehar, Gilbert & Sullivan, Gershwin and Bernstein. Sprinkle all this with a few surprises and top it all off with the most famous aria of all, Nessun Dorma.
