Our story begins with King Florestan XXIV & his Queen who are finally bestowed with a princess after many years. Fairies arrive to the celebrations & bring their gifts for Princess Aurora only to be disturbed by Carabosse the wicked fairy. She had not been invited and was so outraged at this oversight that she declared that Aurora would prick her finger on a spinning needle on her 16th birthday & die. The whole palace is distraught; luckily the Lilac Fairy had not yet bestowed her gift to Aurora. She was not able to reverse Carabosse’s spell but she could at least lessen the impact. What will happen to Aurora, will she live happily ever afterr???
