Cassiopeia Winds was formed in 2010; its performances are lively, exciting and very engaging. At its core is a quintet of players whose members are among the finest in the country, including players from the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, RT????? Concert Orchestra and the Crash Ensemble.
Cassiopeia Winds plays wonderfully diverse music which is rarely played and is relatively unknown around Ireland. However, once heard, audiences are usually hooked e.g. It was a most enjoyable evening. The variety of instruments created an interesting mix of sounds and the information offered both on the music and the instruments was very entertaining.
