Laura Hyland, singer with the critically acclaimed quartet Clang Sayne performs a solo concert at Alice's Restaurant, Naas on Saturday September 30th as part of an eight-date Irish tour. Hyland will be performing songs from the Music Network funded album 'The Round Soul Of The World' released in 2017.
Clang Sayne was formed by Wexford-based Laura Hyland (voice/guitar) to fuse myriad influences spanning folk song, classical music and literature into a unique concert experience. Vocalist and guitarist Laura Hyland has a Sandy Denny-like classic folk voice and wraps it around timeless lyrics of nature, life, love and mortality as well as settings of texts by Dorothy Parker and other poets.
Hyland's approach to song-craft that has been described as "daring and unforgettable".
Concert will start at 8.30pm. Entry is free. Suggested donation €10.
