After hugely successful tours in New York, Bulgaria, the UK and prior
to their performance at this year's Istanbul International Dance Festival,
IMDT will tour their thrilling and beautiful double bill to The Riverbank
Arts Centre.
That Place Those People
Drawing on American dance sensation Sean Curran's experiences of forming
his identity with emigrant parents who left their Irish Homes in Cork
and Roscommon for the USA in the 1950's. Curran's work is informed
by a strong sense of connectedness, not just to a community, but also
to a culture and a place with a strong and Mysterious Past.
Intimate Gold
Created by John Scott, a finalist in the prestigious Rencontres International
de Seine-Saint –Denis competition in 2ooo – The world's most prestigious
Choreographic competition.
