These plays are primarily humorous and entertaining whilst at the same time creating an insight into the lives and minds of women today. They are written by women, about women and performed by women, but they delve into the emotions experienced by both men and women in modern day relationships and as such can be enjoyed by both sexes.

In Thanks for the Mammaries we meet Andi and Rachel. They meet up ten years after leaving school together and discover the different paths their lives have taken. Rachel has just left her husband of ten years and Andi has spent the years flitting between a number of men. Join them as they chart the ever-changing territory of love, sex, friendship, relationships and er…sex!

In The Men Commandments we meet two friends Maggie and Rebecca who work at Rainbow Insurance, fielding claims for various biblical disasters, and who are extremely proud of their celebrated single status. Find out what happens to the friendship when Rebecca suddenly finds herself… IN A RELATIONSHIP …Aaaarrgghh… The rules are very, very different!!!! The ultimate surivival guide to relationships!

Both performers, Sarah Quick and Ruth Dennison, trained at the University of Wales. Sarah Quick, the founder of Quick Change Theatre, and writer of the two plays to be performed, went on to study at the London College of Music before taking to the road and the international fringe circuit. Ruth Dennison joined Quick Change in 2001. She has also worked as a radio presenter in Cork, as well as touring with a number of theatre companies around Ireland.

Quick Change Theatre was established in 1999 with the aim of producing new writing at home and overseas. It has been consistently successful at touring quality theatre that appeals to adults of all ages from 18-80. They have performed in Ireland, England, America and throughout Canada to critical acclaim. The company’s aim is to make theatre accessible to adults everywhere.
