Directed by John O'Brien, " Some Voices" tells the story of Ray, a young Londoner with a mission to live an ordinary life, free from fear, from numbing medication and free from the tormenting voices in his head. Ray has schizophrenia. He is released into the care of his divorced brother Pete, who really has more than enough to deal with in his own life. Laura, an Irish girl lost in London, lives with Dave who loves her desperately and beats her violently. Ray stumbles between them and - through sheer persistance - develops a relationship with Laura. As the medication wears off and the passions accelerate Ray's world is set to explode into everybody's life...
