"In the darkening twilight I saw a lone star hover gem-like above the bay", last words written in his diary by Ernest Shackleton

In collaboration with the Shackleton Museum, using coptic stitch Angelina Foster will guide you to bind your own fabric clothed journal and screen print the Shackleton motto "By Endurance we conquer" in English or Latin on the cover.

In 1915 Endurance sank in the Antarctic, and so began one of the greatest survival stories ever told. To commemorate Shackleton’s famous journey we are hosting a make your own journal workshop. You can also sketch or record your own tales in your handmade journal, just like Shackleton.

There is something very special about binding your own sketchbook, notebook or diary. If you keep a diary, like to write or sketch this is a perfect way to connect with your thoughts.
