A most moving re-enactment of the stations of the cross was held in St. Michael's Parish Church by the students of St. Brigids on Good Friday. The pageant was co-ordinated and choreographed by Mrs Kane with a group of senior students and the junior choir. Mr Brady, the music teacher, organised hymns which added to the sense of meaning of the proceedings. Well done to all of the participants and organisers--Mrs O'Connor and Mrs Kane and others too numerous to mention. Judging by the response from a packed church, the event could become an annual one and with acting of the quality of Richard Watchorn, who portrayed Jesus, the meaning and dignity of the occasion is sure to be preserved.
