Eric May Fight for Ireland

Congratulations to Eric Donovan, a third year student at St. Brigid's Post Primary School, who recently won his fifth Leinster Boxing title at Youth 1 57kg  category.  Eric is currently in training for his fifth All-Ireland Championship.  He has won the All-Ireland title for the past four years and hopes to continue his successful run.
Eric has represented Ireland most recently at the European Championships in Greece last Summer and was narrowly denied a bronze medal.  If Eric successfully defends his All-Ireland title he will represent Ireland at the World Youth Championships and also again at the European Championships later this year.
Eric's dream is to represent Ireland at future Olympic Games and then to box professionally.
His family are very proud of him and offer him great support.  St. Brigid's is delighted with Eric's achievements and wish him all the best for the future.
