WOODLANDS GOLF CLUB
Woodlands Golf Club since being purchased in 1993
has had many memorable occasions. The weekend of the 4th of June promises to be amongst
the great occasions in the life of our young club. Hopefully there will be
something there for everyone and you will give the event your full support.
Not content with past achievements,
plans have already been prepared for our new clubhouse. They will be on display over the
weekend of the Official Opening. The addition of our fabulous new nine holes now makes for a very enjoyable game of golf and is a
monument to the
Captains and Committees who worked so hard and achieved so much. We hope that the
forthcoming event wi1l be a fitting occasion to mark such tireless efforts and celebrate
our enhanced facilities.
While Sunday wi1l be the highlight
when our Captains will officially open the new course, the Clubhouse Classic on
Saturday is very worthy of your support. It is an Open Competition, but
how wonderful it would
be if this was the biggest turnout of members on a single day to give
the Committee the necessary momentum for the Clubhouse and make Woodlands the envy
of every club in Kildare.

Wither not amongst the
Barren dust that is
Thrown upon the
Path of life by
The winds of fate.
The mother will respond,
The earth unfurl the
Greatest living treasure,
In her case-
Her bag of tricks-
That you might not
Harm a hair
Upon her head,
On her face.
